Question:  We installed Web Access on a Windows 2008 server with IIS 7.0. The database

is on a seperate server. In IIS 6 we had to disable anonymous access and

select basic authentication. In IIS 7, we have disabled anonymous access, and

Assume you are using AD and adding Windows Users in FRx.  You have generated a bunch of reports to the Webport where security is used at the tree level and Windows users have been incorporated.  If a Windows password is then changed for the user, which password is applied to the FRx reports that have been previously generated and are stored in the FRx WebPort?

Email from Jeff Cutting 12/15/09: If you’re using Windows authentication, the whole point is that you’re NOT storing a password at all – you’re authenticating based solely on the Windows user being logged on.  For example, if you use Windows authentication in FRx (including Designer, DDV, and WebPort), we’re validating only that the SID (Security...

There are two ways to attack the 1:1 relationship between FC and GL companies.

1. Create a 1:Many relationship between FC and the the GL companies. The way that can be done is the related Forecaster company text box in the Company Information screen for the GL is editable. You can type the company code for the Forecaster company in there and save it.

2. Create a 1:1 relationship for each GL company by setting up a Forecaster company for each of the GL companies. Use the same connection information for each Forecaster company.

·         Check Rows:  Add check rows to the bottom of your FRx row formats.  For example, in an income statement row format add one check row which includes all revenue and expenses (e.g. 4000 to 9999) that equals net income.  You can make this check row no print and add another TOT row which sums your Net Income TOT row and the Check Row.

·         Exception Reporting:  Use the Exception Reporting feature in the FRx Catalog (Report Options | Advanced tab) to report on missing...
